In The Dark is an international audio collective that celebrates stories told through sound. They curate listening events filled with a mixture of sound art, experimental radio and narrative podcasts, radio drama and performance art. Since 2010 they have held hundreds of events in the UK and around the world, in cities like Belfast, Brussels, Lisbon, Berlin, New York and Melbourne. They have curated events and installations for well known institutions like The Barbican, The Roundhouse, Tribeca Festival and the Wellcome Collection.

This month, podcaster and author Adam Zmith is curating a steamy night of aural delights — audio storytelling on the theme of "SEX". The event will explore what sex sounds like, and what those sounds can tell us about identity, community and power. Voices will slide over each other, ASMR will give us tingles, mushrooms will spurt and audio porn will inspire us to make our own pictures...

Adam is a multi-award-winning writer and producer, making podcasts through his company Aunt Nell about sex and LGBTQ+ history. He co-produced the series Press Play, Turn On for Audible, which won Podcast of the Year at the British Podcast Awards 2024. He is also the author of books on poppers and fetishes.
